High School/College Class

This class chooses a book of the Bible that they don’t know much about and will go through it. They use the Bible as their study guide, along with different commentaries to help explain what God is trying to tell them. This class consists of high school and college-aged young adults and is led by Mark Oerly and Ted Rohrbach.

Young Adult Class

Our group is young married through families launching their children, or as long as they are comfortable in our group. We typically approach our weekly lesson straight out of the Bible.  We pick a book and work through it. We have read a couple of books over the years. We are flexible but attempt to keep it biblical. James is one of my favorite books we have studied, with its lessons of always leaning into Him, especially through trials. The book starts in verse 2 with “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance”.  Leisa Hees leads this class.

Adult Class

This class is a mixture of young and old, with twenty-two members. We have three leaders who rotate on Sundays and one substitute. We have finished David Cook’s “Through the Bible in 8 Years”, studied the book of Esther, had a study of Heaven with Randy Alcorn, and at present are reading the book of Revelation through the incite of David Jeremiah, as well as being led through Genesis under the leadership of fellow members, Nat and Karen Smith using material and videos by Ken Ham and others. We don’t always agree on interpretation, but we strive to understand God’s Word as it is presented in the Bible.
